American Heros 4

Today’s Photos:  Helicopters of the American Hero’s Air Show

This past weekend I went to the American Hero’s Air Show in Canton, Georgia.  I love flying and this was a unique air show to get to go to.  It is only helicopters, so it can be held almost anywhere.  I thought it was a very cool event and was able to get a few shots of the helicopters.  Unfortunately, I only took the wide angle lens, so I did not get many good shots of the helicopters while they were flying.  However, there were several on static display which I got to see.

If you have not heard of the American Hero’s Air Show, they hold shows at several different areas around the country.  Check out the American Hero’s Air Show website for a location near you.

Nice shots. I too enjoy flying and have only been on a helicopter one time and loved it. These look like they might be HDR (just slightly). Are they single or multiple images? Tripod or handheld? I find that I have to handhold more than I like, which makes aligning the images a challenge.

These are terrific. I really like the first one. I’ve not been in a helicopter, but I’ll save that for my “someday” list. Nicely done.
