Today’s Photo: The Tower Over Dulles
I was able to explore most of the Air and Space Museums Udvar-Hazy center. It was a whirlwind and I did not get to spend the amount of time I really wanted. One of the places I really wanted to go was the Donald D. Engen tower. It looks over the Udvar-Hazy center and the end of Dulles International airport. In fact, that is the way most of these planes have gotten to the museum. They fly them into Dulles and taxi to the back of the building. I would have loved to get up to the top for a view of the airport, but tours to the tower stop before the center closes. Unfortunately, I did not make it before the last tours.
