Today’s Photo: A Year Later
Well, a little over a year. It is hard to believe that some of the worst spring storms ran right through this area just over a year ago. I happen to live less than a mile from the path of one of the tornadoes that hit. I spent a tense night watching lightning from the basement of the house and alternating it with watching the lightning from the porch, trying to hear the “freight train” once again in my life. Luckily, this area is not that populated and there were fewer injuries than could have been. However, the toll on the forests was extremely heavy. This is one of the many pieces of heavy machinery that have been rolling over the hills the past year. It is sad to say, the sunrise that morning after was just about as pretty and it was definitely a Pleasant Sunrise.
