Lovely

Today’s Photo:  Lovely

I have posted a few photos taken by my wife over the past couple of months.  However, I noticed that I had not posted any photos of my lovely wife.  I shot this with my AF Nikkor 50mm f1.8D.  I really like that lens.  I have been very pleased with the results that I have gotten from the 50mm lens.  My only complaint right now is that I don’t have a dedicated camera to place it on.  I want to go walk downtown Atlanta and get some street photography, but I also want to be able to keep the wide angle handy for those good HDR type shots.  Choices.

WOW! Christina has grown up to be such a beautiful young woman! I wanted to ask you if those were her real eyes, lol, but what I mean is, are her eyes really that color? They are beautiful and I don’t remember them being that color. Of course, I have not seen her in person since 1988!

I just can’t help myself. I have to say something about this photo of my daughter Christina. I try not brag too much because it embarrasses her but, Daryl you outdid yourself on this one! You have photographed some beautiful things but none as beautiful as Christina. Fairly recently she and I went to have nails done and a worker from Subway told me how beautiful she was and asked if she modeled. Then they saw our little one they expressed how beautiful she is. From a very young child I have had people in malls. restaurants, and other places to stop me and tell me how beautiful Christina is and ask me if she modeled anywhere. My answer was no that I didn’t want her exposed to that scene. We wanted her to keep herself pure and lovely as you have said. Her love and commitment to Christ is what shines through those eyes and is the beauty that comes from within. Couldn’t have been captured any better!! Great job! I’m surprised she let you do it!!! Thank you for this. Nana
