The Castle Garden

Today’s Photo:  The Castle Garden

There are not many castles in the United States.  In fact, there are no “real” castles if you think of them as having been built in the medieval times.  The offices of the Smithsonian Institute occupy one of them on the National Mall in Washington D.C.  Just behind the building is a beautiful flower garden, the Edin A. Haupt garden.  It was raining when we made it to this point on the mall.  If you click on the photo, you can actually see the rain drops streaking across the building.
