Everyone has special places they like to go. My wife speaks all the time of her childhood and going to her grandparents’ home. Unfortunately, mine were gone before I had many memories of them. One of the reasons I think there are so many fond memories of our older generations is the stability they usually provide. They are always there anytime you need them and most of them still live in the place they moved into when they were first married. Many times this is a scene you will see and bring back fond memories of running free through the yard and hiding in the barn out back. Maybe even growing in the shadow of a tree which was planted when you were born.
