Today’s Photo:  Making Tracks

Many kids grow up with a fascination with big machines and trains would definitely fall into that category.  I must admit to being guilty of this fascination growing up as well.  At one time, I had a train set that I had assembled and operated on a sheet of plywood.  I had dreams of making it much larger, but eventually let those go.  Traffic was clear when I took this and no trains were in sight.  At least not on my side of the bend.

Great classic shot. I like the B&W process too. I still have a few trains. I cut the board, but never got around to setting it all up. I still have hopes one day of resurrecting it all one day, but probably never will. Yet I still can’t make myself part with the trains. Maybe I’m afraid of letting go of the inner child? 🙂
