Police Lights

Today’s Photo: Police Lights

I took the family for a drive through the Holiday Lights at Veterans Park.  The drive through was pretty nice and the displays were pretty good.  This was one of my favorite.

Lights and a Tree

Today’s Photo: Lights and a Tree

It snowed a little bit on Friday and continued into Saturday.  I could not resist going out and taking a few shots in the snow Friday before it got too dark.  This was with about 3 – 4 inches of snow.  We got another 3 – 4 after I took this photo.  The snow was so good, that we made a 7 foot snowman.  However, the temperature was right at 32 degrees and the snow was very wet and heavy, and the snowman fell down during the night.

The Anchor Monument

Today’s Photo: The Anchor Monument

Walking around Savannah at night is one of my favorite things to do.  Not only is it full of excitement (not getting mugged), but the sights are pretty cool.  This is the Anchor Monument along River Street.  It is a tribute to all the Sailors that have lost their lives.

Garden Lights Path

I am so excited, it is the start of Christmas Lights season.  No, this is not from this year.  However, I can’t wait to make some memories of lights this year.  This is from the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Garden Lights display a couple years ago.  I think my favorite from the gardens that time was the couple Admiring the Tree.

Pier Park Fireworks

Today’s Photo: Pier Park Fireworks

I try hard to find new places to go for July 4th.  Last summer, I found myself in Florida at the Pier in front of Pier Park in Panama City Beach.  I thought it was a pretty cool experience.  There was a huge crowd, but it did not look that big since everyone was spread out on the beach.

Light Globes

Today’s Photo: Light Globes

I have this spot in my kitchen / dining room that I have taken over.  I put lights along it and try to change them with the seasons.  These are from last spring / summer.
