Whirl Wind

Today’s Photo:  Whirl Wind

This is a cool carousel.  It sits in a building in Coolidge Park on the North Bank of the Tennessee River.  The carousel is over 100 years old and still in use.  Talk about things not being made like they used to.  Have you ever heard of an amusement park ride still in use for 100 years?  This photo was a personal challenge for me.  Getting the shutter speed slow enough to get the movement of the carousel and still expose the outside of the building was a pain.  I thought it turned out well.  This is another photo from the Worldwide Photo Walk.  A pictorial description of our 2 hour Worldwide Photo Walk tour of Chattanooga.

That’s great that they’ve enclosed it; probably be good for another 100 years!

You succeeded in your challenge! It’s a great exposure for the light and motion.
