Whirl Wind

Today’s Photo:  Whirl Wind

This is a cool carousel.  It sits in a building in Coolidge Park on the North Bank of the Tennessee River.  The carousel is over 100 years old and still in use.  Talk about things not being made like they used to.  Have you ever heard …Continue Reading Here…

Fairlines

Today’s Photo:  Fairlines

This is another of those photos from Old Car City USA.  I just loved the colors and lines in this.  This was near the back of the museum grounds, if it can be called that.  The owner has taken this old junk yard and converted …Continue Reading Here…

American Heros 1

Today’s Photo:  American Hero’s

This was one of the helicopters on display at the American Hero’s Air Show in Canton Georgia.  The really cool thing is that it is an all helicopter airshow.  That means it can be held almost anywhere.  In fact, the park which …Continue Reading Here…

Clear Skies

Clear skies can be a landscape photographers nightmare.  I hope that this fall and winter bring very few of them.  Not for any selfish photographer reason, but for the rain.  The lake is getting low.

The only complaint I have about the Worldwide Photo Walk …Continue Reading Here…

Pretty Flowers

So, the on track has not happened so “on track”.  Oh well, it is what it is.  Because I have been so busy, I have not had as much time to process photos that I would like.

While at the Worldwide Photo Walk, I noticed several people with camera slings.  The kind of single point sling much like what is used in competition shooting.  I saw a review by Tim Stanley on one of the Black Rapid straps and am leaning toward getting one.  Suggestions anyone?

Leaf

Today’s Photo:  Leaf

I have to give my wife partial credit for this photo.  We were walking around the other night when she told me to stop.  Of course, I paid attention just like my children and it took me a while to actually stop.  I was then told to look down …Continue Reading Here…

Stepping Stones

Today’s Photo:  Stepping Stones

At the Chattanooga Aquarium there is a stream that starts near the entrance of the building and runs along side and down to near the river.  It is a completely man-made stream and is great for children to play in.  About halfway …Continue Reading Here…

Abandoned Barn

Wow, I did not realize it until I started this post tonight.  This is my 200th post since beginning this website.  That means, 200+ photos posted and going.  Over halfway through the first year.

Today’s Photo:  Abandoned Barn

I saw this for several month prior to deciding to stop for a photo.  I kept putting it off …Continue Reading Here…

Today’s Photo:  Go Army

I live in the United States of America, so I have a special place in my heart for the men and women that protect us.  I took this photo as a personal reminder of what they sacrifice for my ability to post.   …Continue Reading Here…
