One Mans Junk

Today’s Photo:  One Mans Junk

When I first saw Old Car City, I thought of the old saying “One mans junk is another mans treasure.”  Old Car City is a junk yard.  What better place to find junk?  This car is a fine example of the junk that is all over …Continue Reading Here…

Hub Cap Anyone?

Today’s Photo:  Hub Cap Anyone?

I know everyone has seen “that” vehicle that drives down the road missing a hub cap.  You know the one, all odd looking and just not right.  Some times, I wonder where all those hub caps go.  I mean, some are just lying by the side of …Continue Reading Here…

1953 Belair

Today’s Photo:  1953 Belair

I have been to several car shows over the last year or so.  They have all had their exciting cars and the not so exciting cars.  The one thing in common through all of them that I have found is that all the cars are unique.  Typically I …Continue Reading Here…

1950's Cadillac Sedan

Today’s Photo:  1950’s Cadillac Sedan

Another shot from my adventures at First Friday in Canton.  Depending on how things go, I may end up there for this months First Friday as well.  When I first saw this, I thought of Doc from the …Continue Reading Here…

Speed Ball

Today’s Photo:  Speed Ball

Well, the car show season has arrived full speed ahead.  I made it to two in two days, but have not made it since.  Mainly because of other obligations.  Sometimes those are not as fun, but still needed.

I learned to drive in an automatic transmission car, but soon …Continue Reading Here…

SmugMug and Flickr

For anyone new, I use SmugMug to host my recent photos on this site.  You can click the photo to get a large version of it.  Since most are HDR, they look much better big.  Really big.  I also use Flickr just because I like the community that has been built there.  You can check out the SmugMug gallery or the Flickr photostream.

 Chevy

Today’s Photo:  Chevy

I actually found this old Chevy at the last car show I went to last year.  Luckily it was not too cold and not too hot that day.  It was just about right.  I really liked this one because it still needed a little tender loving and care, but still had that great polished chrome for some good reflections.  I got shots of the gray car next to it.  Maybe someday I will get around to posting those.

Ford Model A

Today’s Photo:  Ford Model A

I usually try to separate photos from the same event / place by several days at least.  However, there were so many cool cars, I could not resist this one.  I was so busy taking photos that I never stopped to ask what year this was.  The best I can tell, it is a …Continue Reading Here…

1937 Buick

Today’s Photo:  1937 Buick

Finally, a couple minutes to process some of the photos from this weekend.  I thought I would go through them chronilogically as I took them, so I would say that is how most of these will end up for a little while.

I decided to take the girls on a small adventure and turn it to my advantage for a change.  Boy was I mistaken.  We went …Continue Reading Here…

Wrecked

Today’s Photo:  Wrecked

This shot is from the back lot of Old Car City.  Now, Old Car City is a junk yard.  Usually you see cars lined up all nice and neat waiting for parts to be salvaged or the car to be scrapped.  I don’t ever remember seeing a wreck in a junk yard …Continue Reading Here…

Today, I cross a mile stone with this Daily Photography Blog.  I have managed to make 366 (+1 for leap year) daily posts with missing very few days.  It was a trail at times in the beginning, but now it seems to be a kinda self perpetuating thing.

 Interiors

Today’s Photo:  Interiors

Temperatures are rising and days are beginning to get pretty out.  Soon we will start seeing planned and impromptu car shows all over the place.  In fact, there is one scheduled for April 21.  But I am struggling between that …Continue Reading Here…
