Today’s Photo: An Olympic Monument
I found this monument tucked into the corner of Centennial Olympic Park. I have not idea what it is supposed to represent. Usually I am pretty good deciphering what the individual elements of a monument are and what they are supposed to represent. Based on the writing on the monument, it is for the athletes who participated in the 1996 Olympics. However, it still makes not sense to me. I guess it means exactly what the artist wanted it to. Maybe it is as simple as really cool looking pieces of granite?
