Today’s Photo: Julia Heliconian (I think)
Situated on top of the Ocean Journey building of the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga is a butterfly exhibit. The exhibit has hundreds of different butterflies and even an observing area where the staff raise the butterflies. You have to be careful leaving, it would be dangerous to let these foreign beauties loose here. I believe this one is a Julia Heliconian, but I am not totally sure. I was too busy chasing the butterflies around to ask them what their names were. Besides, it would be my luck that one would say it’s name was Bob.
Wow! Wonderful shot. The colors are great. We have a butterfly museum downtown and you make me want to go visit it. I’ll have to add that to my to-do list.
