Today’s Photo: Hunter Mansion
One of the center pieces of the Art District in Chattanooga, is the Hunter museum. The museum is situated on top of a hill overlooking both the Tennessee River and downtown Chattanooga. The center of the museum is a 1904 Classical Revival Mansion and has been home to the museum since the 1050’s. Since its opening, the museum has expanded to include two more parts with distinctly different architecture. This shot is of the steps leading to the front of the mansion.
