Today’s Photo: Young Brothers Pharmacy
Christmas night this last year, I spent a little while walking around downtown Cartersville, Georgia. I was mainly interested in getting shots of the tree which was placed prominently in the downtown area. However, that did not stop me from looking around for other good opportunities. One of the most interesting buildings is the Young Brothers Pharmacy which is on Main Street by the railroad tracks. According to the sign on the side of the building, Young Brothers Pharmacy dates from around 1881. Also on the side of the building is the first outdoor Coca-Cola billboard and dates from 1894.
