Today’s Photo: David G. Archer Overlook
Several months ago, I took my kids on their first Geocaching adventure. I decided to take them again several weeks ago. We decided to go to the Pine Mountain Recreation Area just east of Cartersville Georgia. We decided to go there since the hike was not too bad, there was supposed to be a good overlook and several geocaches. We hiked about three miles at a measly one mile per hour, but that was with about a 45 minute stop to enjoy the overlook and time to find all the caches. Overall, it was a great day and I came away with a few good shots. This one happens to be from the top of the mountain looking east southeast toward Lake Allatoona.
