Today’s Photo: Moving On
Many years ago, it was normal to see or know of someone catching a ride on a train. It was one of the most efficient methods of travel and at the time, one of the only ways to travel long distances. Now, there is very little travel and nearly all travel is by the personal automobile. I guess this due to the time demands put on everyone and the need to be flexible. One thing for sure is that the glory days of hitching a ride on a rail car are over.
