Today’s Photo: Fall Creek Falls
This past weekend, I took a trip to Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tennessee. I was hoping to catch the peak color change season, but I think I missed it by about a week. On the other hand, I started my descent in to the gorge to look at the base of the falls and when I got back to the top, it looked as if the colors had changed in just a few hours. This shot is from the base. However, don’t be fooled. The falls are 256 feet tall and the highest in the Eastern United States. The boulder near the bottom right of the falls is taller than a person.
