Today’s Photo: The Rostrum
After going through the Georgia National Cemetery, I decided to visit the Marietta National Cemetery. I grew up in the Cobb County Georgia area and spent many days on and around the square. At the time, I never took interest in the Marietta National Cemetery. In fact, it was not until I saw a photo of it the other day that I wanted to visit it. I thought it would have been larger than it was. I think this was mainly because how large the Georgia National Cemetery was. The main feature of the Cemetery is the Rostrum sitting on top of the hill watching over the grave sites.
