Today’s Photo:  Where to go Next

It is nice when a city becomes really involved in development that is meant to attract people to continue to explore.  That is the feeling I get every time I visit Chattanooga.  No matter where I go, there is that feeling that I need to keep going to …Continue Reading Here…

One place we have not spent a great amount of time at in Chattanooga is the Children’s Museum.  There is not a whole lot at the museum, but the interactiveness of it makes for a fun time.  This staircase leads to the top of an observation tower which sort of overlooks downtown Chattanooga.

Today’s Photo:  Walnut Street Bridge at Night

Part of the reason I like Chattanooga Tennessee so much are the bridges.  All of them are picturesque, but one must stand out from the others.  I believe it is the Walnut Street Bridge.  During the day in the summer, the blue framework of the bridge contrasts with …Continue Reading Here…

I am one of those few people who actually like bugs.  That makes it okay when we stop by the butterfly exhibit at the Chattanooga Aquarium.  In the wild, there is very little chance of having one of these beauties light on your fingertip.  However, here, it is a common [Continue Reading…]

Some cities are more photogenic than others.  Chattanooga is definitely on the more photogenic end of the list.  This is the John Ross or Market Street Bridge which is near the Chattanooga aquarium.  I have walked over this bridge several times and always love the views from the bridge.  I was excited to be able to get a decent angle to capture it at night.  This shot was from beside the water cannons at Ross’s Landing.

The water cannons along the waterfront at Ross’s Landing have been one of my favorite spots.  Whether in the winter and cold breeze creating a nice mist or the summer and a warm breeze blowing small water droplets, it seems to be just …Continue Reading Here…

This walkway goes from the Hunter Museum down to the river front in Chattanooga.  It is not a trek for the faint of heart as this is not the majority of the walkway.  When the path gets to the bottom, there is a small amphitheater under the bridge.  I ran across a musician playing …Continue Reading Here…
