Today (Saturday) was absolutely awesome. What a great day for a photowalk. I as extremely glad I checked the weather for Chattanooga before taking off from home. I noticed that the high was supposed to be in the low 60’s. I was going to wear shorts. That changed quickly once I saw the estimated temps. I got to the front of the Tennessee aquarium and must say, I was not the only one who was cold, but I was fortunate enough to have dressed for it. I met so many new people with a passion for photograph that is as great at mine, I can’t say enough for the amount of fun this was. This was the fourth annual Worldwide Photo Walk. I can’t wait for next years.
Today’s Photo: Cool Morning
I wish I could have claimed this as this mornings photo, but I have not had time to process what I got today. However, after such a cool morning, I decided that I needed to provide a visual representation of the cold. For anyone new to the site, you may not recognize this gate. It is in the perfect spot for sunrise photos and particularly over the summer, I took lots of photos here. I even started a series of photos of just this gate and sunrise. That ended when I began going in to work before sunrise.
Nice shot. You must be getting up pretty early to capture these scenes. The mist and fog are quite atmospheric.
Unfortunately, my alarm is set for 0430. Too early for me, but good for catching sunrise.
