Today’s Photo: The Apollo Courtyard
For anyone who has had the childhood dream of becoming and astronaut and especially for those who held that dream longer, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville Alabama is a must stop spot. The first thing that is noticed before even arriving at the space center is the massive Saturn V rocket towering over the complex. It is visible from miles away. This is the center of the Apollo Courtyard and the entrance to the space center. Around the courtyard are plaques for each of the Apollo missions. It is amazing to see the boot print of the astrounauts in the concrete in front of each of the plaques.
