Today’s Photo: The Distant Quarry
I am a man of many different hobbies. Of course, the most obvious is photography, but this is the most tame of them (sometimes not). I like just about any kind of “adventure” sport you can dream up. From rock climbing to scuba diving, I grew up in the outdoors with my life in my hands. Sometimes literally. One of my favorite is scuba diving. Now, in North Georgia, there are not all that many public places to go that are worth your time of day. However, there are lots of quarries which have shut down and are now filled with water. One I have visited several time is Loch Low-Minn in Athens Tennessee. This is a photo of a full quarry just outside Fairmount. Maybe someday it will be opened to diving and I won’t have to travel so far.
