Today’s Photo: Soldiers and Sailors Monument (Indianapolis)
I have been to quite a few cities in my life and many of them have been up and down the eastern seaboard. There are not many, especially the large ones, that you can define a certain point as the center. Indianapolis is one of the exceptions. Situated in the center of the city is the Soldiers and Sailors monument and what is called Monument Circle. If you search for Indianapolis Indiana in Google earth, it puts the marker on the center of this monument. The monument circle makes for lots of interesting angles and compositions. I got this shot one evening and I believe it was looking north at the monument.
