Today’s Photo: All You See
In 1966 the United States began using one of the most advanced spy planes the world had seen, or not seen. While in use, it maintained the record for the highest and fastest manned aircraft. Unless it was sitting on the ground, this was the only view that would be seen. Now that this one sits prominently in the Udvar Hazy center, you can get any view of it you want except for inside the cockpit. I was able to get several shots of the SR-71 while checking out all the planes from throughout history that were in the Udvar Hazy center.
