Today’s Photo: 6000 Feet
I spent a few days in Boise Idaho earlier this year. I am always excited when I can make it past a mile up in the air without the help of wings. I was able to do that once more traveling along the Bogus Basin Road. I was worried when I started the drive that I would not find any good views. I was pleasantly surprised when I began entering the Boise National Forest. Most of the drive, I was on the east side of the mountain ridge and could see the sun. However, after several miles, the road crossed over to the west side of the mountains and I lost the sun. That was when it got kinda hairy. This point is just before you get to the Bogus Basin Ski area. I could not resist the 6000 foot sign.
