Today’s Photo: Before the Dirt at Dixie Speedway
My soon to be nephew races at a local dirt track called Dixie Speedway. He invited me a couple of months ago to take photos of him racing. Well, I was finally able to go this past weekend. I have been to several Nascar races, including Daytona International Speedway, but nothing had prepared me for this. Since I was there to take photos for him, naturally I got a Pit Pass and spent the majority of the time on the infield. It rained just before the race and made for some interesting early laps to get the track back into racing condition. I took tons of photos and will definitely be back. This one is before the mud bath.
