Today’s Photo: Beached
At the last minute, I decided to take a trip to the Pine Mountain Recreation Area in Cartersville for some sunrise photos over Lake Allatoona. The weather forecast was for partly cloudy skies. Well, someone does not know what partly cloudy is supposed to be. I never saw the sun, but it was a good hike anyway. After, I stopped by Old Car City. When I was checking in, I saw an aerial photo of the junkyard with the property lines marked out. Something like you would get from a county development office. Looking at the map, I noticed that I had only seen about half the junkyard last time I was there. I decided to go straight to the back and I ran across this pond. Makes sense that they would have a few junk boats beached on the shore.
