Today’s Photo: A Piece of the Past
I spent my youth growing up in the major metropolis of Acworth Georgia. Most people couldn’t find it on a map if you gave them a clue and fewer could tell you what downtown looks like. Acworth was founded as a railroad town and still has the tracks which are active. I remember watching the trains many times. I stopped in Cartersville to take a few shots downtown and was surprised when a train started rumbling by. When I saw this shot, I was taken back to my childhood and watching the trains in Acworth.
