Having museums near home is great. You can go visit them when you want and don’t have to cram a whole lot into a limited amount of time for one visit. One of our local museums is the Booth Western Art museum. It’s almost like going back to the good old days of cowboys. Everywhere are statues of Indians and cowboys, and then there were the paintings and statues depicting the American Civil War. This is one of the more prominent statues in the museum. With the religious significance of feathers, it does not surprise me that there was a statue depicting the struggle to capture a large bird of prey.
